Bringing Your Love Story to Life on Canvas

 

Thank you for considering a live wedding painting to capture your most cherished moment! Below are some frequently asked questions to guide you through the process. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out—I’d love to chat! 

 -Pricing & Booking -

 

What is the starting price for a live wedding painting?

Live wedding paintings start at $1,999 USD, which includes a 20x16” (50x40cm) canvas, all professional-grade materials, and 6 to 10 hours of live painting entertainment during your wedding day. I will begin painting 2-3 hours before the ceremony and continue fine-tuning details in my studio before delivering your finished masterpiece.

 

What if I want a canvas size that isn’t listed in your packages?

Dreaming of something uniquely yours? I offer custom canvas sizes! While I can’t go smaller than 16x20”, I can certainly go larger than 24x36”. Let me know what you envision, and I’ll create a custom quote based on my existing packages.

 

What is the payment schedule? Do you offer payment plans?

To secure your date, a $500 retainer is required. This is part of your total price, not an extra fee. After that, we’ll arrange a custom payment plan to fit your needs—just keep in mind that the final balance must be paid in full two weeks before your event.

-The Painting Process-
 

What materials do you use?

Every painting is created with archival-quality, professional-grade materials, designed to last for generations. I use gallery-wrapped cotton canvas, high-quality acrylic paints, and finish each piece with a protective matte varnish.

 

 When will my painting be finished?

During your event, I aim to complete about 80% of the painting live. Afterward, I’ll bring it back to my studio to perfect every detail.

• Standard delivery: 24-36 hours after the event

• Extended delivery (if my schedule is full): 2-6 weeks

 

Can I choose the scene or moment you paint?

Yes! All packages include you and your partner in fine detail, and some also allow for additional guests. If you’d like recognizable portraits of family members, friends, or pets, they can be added for a small additional fee. I’ll work with you before the event to gather reference photos and ensure their presence in your painting feels natural and heartfelt.

My loved one (parent, grandparent, pet, etc.) can’t be at my wedding, but I want them included in my painting. Can you do that?

Yes! Whether they’ve passed on or simply can’t attend, I can incorporate them into your painting using personal photos. We’ll discuss how you’d like them to be represented—whether as a central figure, a subtle background presence, or something more symbolic.

-Shipping & Delivery- 
 

Who covers the shipping cost of my finished painting?

Shipping is not included in the package price. Once your painting is completed, I’ll obtain a shipping quote and send you the details. If you’re local, we can arrange a free pickup instead!

What happens if my painting is lost or damaged during shipping?

All packages are shipped via USPS with standard insurance. If you’d like full-value insurance, I can get a quote for you—this is highly recommended to protect your investment. Please note that Art by Isaura is not responsible for any damages or losses after your painting leaves my studio.

 

Do you offer framing?

My paintings are created on gallery-wrapped canvas, meaning the edges are painted for a clean, finished look—ready to hang as-is! However, you are welcome to frame it after delivery if you prefer.

-Travel & Special Requests-

Do you travel for weddings outside of Los Cabos?

Yes! I love painting love stories anywhere in the world. Travel fees apply for locations more than 2 hours away by car. If your wedding requires flights, lodging, or car rentals, we’ll calculate all costs during your consultation so you have a clear picture of your package price.

Can I order a printed copy of my painting?

Yes! I take professional photos of every finished piece, which can be used to create high-quality prints on canvas or paper. You can request this service anytime after your painting is complete.

 

Do you retain the copyright of my painting?

Yes! I retain the copyright and may use images of your painting for my portfolio, website, exhibits, and competitions. However, you are welcome to share, display, and print your painting for personal use. If you’d like to remain anonymous in my online portfolio, just let me know—I respect your privacy!

-Cancellations & Postponements-

 What if I have to cancel or postpone my wedding?

If your wedding is canceled or rescheduled to a date I’m unavailable, your deposit will be applied toward a custom studio commission instead of a live painting.

What if YOU have to cancel due to an emergency?

The only situation where I would cancel is due to an unforeseen illness, family emergency, or travel delay beyond my control. In this rare case, you will receive a full refund. I will also do my best to help you find another live painter, though this is not guaranteed.

-Already Married? No Problem!-

 My wedding has already happened—can you still paint my favorite moment?

Absolutely! If I wasn’t there to paint live, I can still create a breathtaking studio commission using your wedding photos. It’s never too late to turn your love story into a timeless work of art!
